There are many reasons for changing your boiler from can't get the parts anymore, to total system failure. What ever the reason changing your boiler can be a daunting prospect but a considerable investment in your home.
There are so many options available it is easy to become overloaded with information.
A Corgi registered engineer gives assurances to you, that your plumber is qualified and vetted constantly to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and up to date knowledge. Not only knowledge regarding changes and developments to building regulations but also the changes in technology.
HSL Building Services' Corgi engineer will discuss your heating and hot water requirements based on the size of your home and amount of hot water that you use. Once this assessment is made we can then recommend the size, type and make of boiler that is best suited to your needs. Often we are able to offer a choice between different manufacturers based upon price, reliability and the warrantee offered.
Hot and cold spots may be a problem. These may require a full cleansing flush of the system, a change of some or all of your radiator valves or a simple balancing of the system. Manufacturers will usually cover a boiler for a warrantee of 12 months and we will always warrantee our work for the first 12 months ensuring that any changes are first class and your new heating system remains in tip top condition. We would recommend that your boiler is serviced annually to keep it working at its best.
Older boilers can be extremely inefficient with over 50% of the heat produced wasted into the atmosphere heating up our planet rather than our homes. A new, A rated SEDBUC system can be over 90% efficient meaning that the gas used will heat up your home and hot water rather than outside. You may see a reduction in your gas bills so that an investment now is bound to save you money in the longer term.
All new installations
To activate your manufacturers warrantee you need a Corgi notification number. Only a Corgi registered engineer can provide this. This means that using a professional and registered gas appliance engineer will give you piece of mind regarding the standards of workmanship, up to date knowledge, advice and also completes and warrantee requirements.
Certification is delivered directly form Corgi and gives extra assurances should you ever decide to sell your property as the certificate is passed on to the new owners, more reason, should you need it, to get the job done properly.
